Vitra Stools

Vitra stools cover the Eames Elephant in plastic and wood, Jasper Morrison's Cork Family, Jean Prouvé's Tabouret Métallique and the Chap stool. Find a stool for a child's room, a hallway, a kitchen or to use as a side table next to the sofa. Many come in several colours.

Vitra stools: the Eames Elephant

The Eames Elephant is the most recognisable stool on the page. The small RE version is made from recycled plastic and works as a toy, a stool and a decorative object, indoors and outdoors, in colours such as Canary, Cloud Blue and Deep Black. The larger Elephant exists in RE plastic as well, and in clear lacquered chestnut and walnut. The Eames range is the biggest group here.

Cork, steel and wood

Cork Family by Jasper Morrison, from 2004, is a set of stools in cork with geometric lines that contrast with the soft, velvety surface. Models A to E are light and durable, so they also work as bedside tables or side tables for drinks. The Tabouret Métallique by Jean Prouvé, from 1936, has an industrial look and is easily moved between the kitchen, living room and hallway. Chap stools in RE plastic come in Basic Dark, Brick, Dark Grey and Sea Blue, and a tray can be locked under the seat.

One stool, many uses

Use a Butterfly stool in maple or rosewood, an ELS Elephant stool or any of these as extra seating, a plant stand or a bedside table. Browse the full range from Vitra to combine them with tables and chairs in the same design language.
