On the Panton One Dining Chair, a polyurethane seat in 605 Clark meets a brushed stainless frame, and the two together look like a well-matched pair at the cocktail hour. It is a chair for bright kitchens, white walls and sunlit mornings with the good bread out.

Designed by Verner Panton, it measures 87 cm in height, 54 cm in width and 55 cm in depth, with a seat height of 49 cm and a weight of 4.5 kg. The frame is finished in 99 Stainless, a brushed steel surface that glows softly instead of glaring, and it picks up every shift in the daylight. Place a few around a round table and you get an effortless Scandinavian bistro; add a bowl of lemons and you get a magazine spread.
