Panton One Dining Chair 605-Clark/05-Black

Playfulness is the one rule a dining room should follow, and this version, in 605 Clark on a black lacquered frame, takes that rule to heart. The polyurethane seat has a smooth, sculpted presence, like a pebble pulled from a stream and set on a stand. Pull it up to the table and the whole room starts to loosen its tie.

Verner Panton designed the Panton One Dining Chair to be 87 cm tall, 54 cm wide and 55 cm deep, with a 49 cm seat height and a comfortable weight of 4.5 kg. The frame is lacquered metal in 05 Black, a deep, graphic base that lets the seat colour take the lead. A set of these around a white or wooden table turns dinner into a design exhibition where everyone is allowed to touch the exhibits. Practical for the weekday, stylish for the weekend.
