Kevi 2051 Stool 147-Shadow

When the evenings turn dark and the candles come out, a room needs furniture in the colour of dusk. Shadow is a warm grey-brown, like a cashmere scarf or the shadow beneath an old oak tree, and on a small stool it works like a quiet underline beneath everything else in the room. Nothing about it is loud; everything about it is thoughtful.

Jørgen Rasmussen designed the Kevi 2051 with a seat height of 47 cm and a square top of 42.5 by 42.5 cm, in wood and lacquered metal, both finished in 147 Shadow. Tuck it by the fireplace for the cat, line a few up beneath a long counter for Friday-night guests, or place one beside the bed as a nightstand with ambitions. Shadow keeps its composure next to everything from white plaster to dark leather, and it forgives a fair amount of daily living.
