&Tradition Flowerpot by Verner Panton
Flowerpot was designed by Verner Panton in 1968 and is known for its simple, graphic shape: two shades, one inside the other, that give a soft, glare-free light. The lamp was first made for restaurants and Panton exhibitions before it found its way into private homes. It was originally produced by Louis Poulsen, and the rights have since moved to &Tradition.
Models and colours
The Flowerpot pendants are the largest group, with VP1, VP7 and the Topan VP6. VP1 comes in Matt Black, Matt White, Dark Plum, Mustard Yellow and more, and there is an Anniversary Edition in Pewter. For Panton's 100th birthday Steel Blue, Ivory and Zesty Orange were added, based on his own thinking about colour.
One shape through the home
The same double shade continues in &Tradition table lamps, portable lamps, wall lights and floor lamps. More from the brand is on the &Tradition page.
