The GUBI Tynell Collection brings together lamps by the Finnish designer Paavo Tynell, from pendants to floor lamps and wall lights. This page shows pendants, table lamps, a wall lamp and floor lamps in brass, bamboo and canvas, with model numbers such as 1965, 1967, 1972 and 9602.

GUBI Tynell Collection: lamps by Paavo Tynell

Paavo Tynell is a designer who created many iconic lamps. The collection is named after him and uses numbers from the original models, such as 1965, 1967, 1972 and 9602.

Pendants, floor lamps and table lamps

The pendants 1965, 1967 and 1972 come in brass, and some have a shade in canvas or bamboo. The 1972 pendant has a hand-sewn bamboo shade on a metal frame, which gives a soft glow and downward-facing light, suitable over a dining table. It comes in two versions, with or without adjustable height. The floor lamp 9602, known as the Chinese hat, dates from 1935 and has an airy shade, available in brass with bamboo, with a canvas shade or in willow.

Table and wall lamps
