Design: Petite Friture, 2020

Concept: Vertigo NOVA is a 2020 version of the very well-known Vertigo pendant from 2009. Vertigo NOVA is made with the latest LED technology and thus provides a cleaner light than the original Vertigo lamp. The Vertigo NOVA the pendant is made in 3 sizes, Ø110, Ø140 and Ø190 respectively. Vertigo NOVA is based on the world-famous Vertigo lamp, created by award-winning Constance Guisset, which created large enthusiasm in the design industry when it was launched as Petite Friture's first lamp creation in 2009. It quickly became a classic and also won the Audience Award at the Design Parade de la Villa Noailles in the year of its launch. Guisset has put a lot of thought into this design and every single detail has been well considered and measured with precision. For example, the lamp is made of a light material that causes the lamp to wave when the wind blows through the room. In addition, the lightbulb is placed in a small basket, which together with the shade creates a beautiful shadow play on the ceiling and wall when the lamp is turned on. The folk design is designed to work in all kinds of rooms - both large and small. Some may find it beautiful above the bed in the bedroom. Others will use it in the kitchen, in the living room or perhaps in a larger hall. With the Vertigo NOVA the pendant you get a genuine French design icon in a modern and slightly more streamlined version that will please most design lovers.
