Design: Space Copenhagen, 2021

Concept: Space Copenhagen's design team is both playful, poetic and relaxed and has reinvented the traditional lantern in a soothing and characterful Unbound series. With the teardrop-shaped marble base that acts as an anchor, the white linen or the natural canvas shade be rotated effortlessly around, as if it were a sail that waved gently. Its 'mast' supports a series of dimmable LED lights behind the shade, creating a soft, diffused and evenly distributed light. The floor lamp can be placed with space around it, so that the diffused light can be distributed in the room and even when it is not intended, it gives a sculptural breath to the surroundings. By changing the 'sail', a soothing, fluid and dynamic silhouette is achieved. This balance between character and sophistication makes the Unbound gold lamp eminent for both adorning the private homes but also larger projects.

As marble is a natural material, the appearance of marble can vary
