Kevi 2533 Office Chair 162-Hokkaido

It is October, there is soup on the stove, and the whole kitchen smells like somebody roasted an entire pumpkin patch. Now picture that exact warm glow on a chair. Hokkaido is the orange of squash skin and low sun through a window, bold enough to start conversations and soft enough not to start arguments. A desk with this chair beside it looks like it has a pulse.

The Kevi 2533, by Jørgen Rasmussen, is a swivel office chair on castors with a polished aluminium base and a veneer seat and back in 162 Hokkaido. The seat adjusts between 38 and 51 cm, and the chair is 56 cm wide and 56 cm deep. Place it against grey walls and it becomes the sunniest thing in the room, a small orange lighthouse for anyone drifting through a long afternoon of spreadsheets, emails and mild existential questions about what to have for dinner.
