Pantonova Linear Lounge Chair 07-Blackred

A straight line was never safe around Verner Panton, so it is rather delightful that the Linear is the calm one in the family. Picture a ribbon of bent steel wire folded into a lounge chair, powder-coated in deep Black Red, glowing like a wine glass held to the lamp. In daylight it casts a lacework of shadows across the floor; at night it looks like a drawing in the air.

The Pantonova Linear is the straight module of the series: 73.2 cm high, 55.2 cm wide and 61.9 cm deep, weighing 10 kg. Its powder-coated steel frame is finished in 07 Black Red, a rich dark tone that sits between black and burgundy. Use it as a lone sculptural seat in a hall or pair it with its curved siblings to build a lounge landscape. Lightweight in spirit, striking in presence, and never short of conversation.
