The series is based on Carlo Nason's original design from the 1960s, which has now been recreated in a contemporary and functional version. The lamp's colorful, hand-blown glass base carries a glass dome made of acid-etched opaline glass that diffuses a soft and pleasant light. Gelato T1 is equipped with a specially designed LED lightbulb, which can be dimmed in three steps via the integrated switch, and is powered by a magnetic rechargeable battery, making it easy to move around and use in different rooms.
