1006 Hans Pendant 14 Pine

Few designers mastered the atmosphere of light quite like Hans-Agne Jakobsson. Originally conceived in the 1960s and reintroduced by Vaarnii, the Hans collection celebrates one of Scandinavian lighting design's most enduring expressions, where natural materials and exceptional craftsmanship create a uniquely warm and inviting glow. Inspired by Jakobsson's original vision, the pendant combines solid Finnish pine with delicate pine veneer, allowing light to gently filter through the wooden structure and fill the room with a soft, atmospheric presence.

The collection is characterised by its striking balance between visual weight and physical lightness. The layered wooden construction creates a sculptural and graphic silhouette while showcasing the distinctive grain and natural beauty of pine. Whether suspended above a dining table, in a living space or as part of a larger lighting arrangement, Hans brings warmth, texture and timeless Scandinavian character to its surroundings.

Please note: Pine is a natural material that will develop a richer, warmer patina over time. Variations in colour, grain and appearance are part of the design and make each piece unique.
