Kevi 2533 Office Chair 156-Oyster

Crack open an oyster and the inside glows with a pale, pearly sheen, neither white nor beige but something far more graceful. That is 156 Oyster: the colour of seashells on a quiet Danish beach in the hour before anyone else arrives. It makes a workspace feel airy, as if the walls have taken a deep breath.

Jørgen Rasmussen designed the Kevi 2533 as a swivel office chair on castors, with a polished aluminium base and a veneer seat and back finished in Oyster. The seat height adjusts from 38 to 51 cm, and the dimensions are 56 by 56 cm. Because the shade is so soft, it plays well with everything: black steel, pale oak, a linen curtain, even the sulking radiator under the window. If your idea of luxury is a calm room, a warm cup and nobody asking whether you have a minute, this is the chair that sits beside you.
