Kevi 2533 Office Chair 147-Shadow

Late October, half past four, the sky has already given up. In a room like that you want a chair the colour of the hour: warm grey with a hint of brown, like wet slate under a streetlight or a good wool coat on a hook. Shadow is that colour, and it makes a desk feel less like a task and more like a nest.

The Kevi 2533, designed by Jørgen Rasmussen, swivels on castors above a polished aluminium frame, and its veneer seat and back are finished in 147 Shadow. Adjust the seat anywhere from 38 to 51 cm and it will meet you at your height, whatever that happens to be today. It measures 56 by 56 cm, so it sits neatly beside bookshelves and radiators alike. Shadow is gentle on the eye, forgiving on sleeves and rather good at looking expensive next to oak, walnut or a stack of unread paperbacks.
