Concept: The self-taught Danish designer Tom Rossau started his career in his parents' basement. He had a large passion for LEGO which was the starting point for Tom's vivid imagination. Tom Rossau passion for design started in the 90s, when he opened his very own shop in Copenhagen, and designed and sewed leather clothes. Since 2004, however, he has primarily chosen to work with natural wood veneer. At the beginning, it was only possible to buy his uniquely beautiful lamps in his old shop in Istedgade in Copenhagen, but in 2006, the models TR4, TR5, TR6 and TR7 were were introduced to a wider audience at the Copenhagen Furniture Fair, where TR7 received the "Audience's Favorite Award".

Even though the business continues to boom, Tom Rossau remains true to the company's original values ​​and core. He found it a magical experience to design, and watch the prototypes and materials evolve during the design process. He gets a kick out of the whole design process, and finds his inspiration all over the world, but at the same time also lets the possibilities of the materials inspire him. In fact, he believes that the material is the designer, and he is just the helper who assembles the lamps, gets the screws and fastens the ends.
