Product Information

Design: Le Corbusier, 1963

Concept:
The Parliament the floor lamp from the Italian Nemo was designed by architect and designer Le Corbusier in 1963. It was originally created for the Chandigarh Parliament in India, a building that was also designed by Le Corbusier and the lamp is a symbol of 1950s modernism inspired by industrial lighting of the time. The floor lamp's elegant lampshades sit on a movable head, so that the light can be turned in the desired direction and function both as direct and indirect lighting. Use the lamp for the reading corner next to the armchair or sofa or use it in the bedroom as a delicate room lighting. The Parliament the floor lamp is available in different color combinations of the shades, all with the iconic gray base and rod.
