Design: Tom Dixon & FRONT

Concept:
Tom Dixon and FRONT have created an incredibly beautiful pendant, in a completely unique design. The lamp is made using a special metallizing technology that makes the appearance completely unique. The first of its kind. the lamp is transparent when its on, and you can see the exciting play of colors. When the lamp is turned off, it issues a mirror-like look. The Melt lamp has a beautiful organic and natural expression. The pendant is designed in a collaboration between Tom Dixon and the Swedish design collective FRONT. The ideas behind the design are a mixture of creating the expression of three strange things such as melted glass, a melting glacier and the expression from when you have taken a picture with a flash.

Melt Pendant LED is available in four colors, Chrome, Copper, Gold and Smoked. In addition, the lamp is available in two different sizes, the large one in Ø48 cm. and the small in Ø27 cm.

The Tom Dixon Melt series now includes various floor lamps, pendants, wall lamps, ceiling lights and table lamps.
