Timeless Lighting Collections from Lyfa

Created by Anine Johnsen

Some lamps just light a room. Others tell you something about it. At Lyfa, every collection starts with a story - a material, a memory, a piece of history reimagined for today. In this edit, we're highlighting three of our favorites side by side: Futé, Pan, and Repose. Three very different moods, one shared devotion to craft.

Futé

Futé is what happens when warmth meets precision. Designed by GamFratesi, this table lamp series blends fabric, ceramic, and metal into a form that feels both soft and sculptural. A discreet metal detail doubles as the switch — a small technical solution that becomes part of the design itself. Futé sits just as easily on a sidetable as it does on an open shelf, at home in almost any setting.

Pan

Few designs capture a decade quite like Pan. Created by Bent Karlby, this pendant took its cue from the open tubes of a pan flute and turned it into a lighting icon of the 1970s space age. Twelve polished aluminium pipes catch and scatter light in every direction — down, out, and softly upward through the open top. The result is a piece that's as much about the light it throws on the wall as the light it gives.

Repose

Repose is designed for stillness. Inspired by the quiet simplicity of a traditional Japanese hairpin, the series balances a slender stick against a large, opal glass shade — a pairing so precise it seems almost weightless. The shades appear to float, moving gently like a hanging mobile suspended between object and space. It's a lamp that doesn't just illuminate a room, but softens it.

Three collections, three ways of thinking about light - playful precision in Futé, retro drama in Pan, quiet balance in Repose. Together, they show what makes Lyfa's design language so distinct: every piece has a reason for being exactly as it is.
