Tom Dixon pendants in glass, metal and polycarbonate

The largest series is Melt, with shades inspired by molten glass. They look reflective when switched off and translucent when lit, and come in full size and Mini in finishes such as Copper, Gold, Opal/Gold, Opal/Silver and Smoke. Melt is made from polished polycarbonate. Press adds a Mini Sphere pendant in clear pressed glass with ribbed detailing that diffuses the light, and Stone has a pendant in Gold with a brass-finished LED.

Metal pendants with a sculptural shape

Puff is made of flat, diamond-shaped metal panels that are expanded and swollen, in Brass and Stainless Steel, and its mirror-like surface reflects the room. Spring comes in Small and Medium in Brass. Flare Top is a Silver pendant, Globe a Chrome LED pendant, and Beat a Tall and a Wide pendant in Black.

Pose: focused light

Pose takes its shape from lighthouse lenses. The conical pendants in Ø43 come in Kelp, Putty and Silver and direct the light into a focused beam, with adjustable parts and dimmable versions.

Using the pendants in a room

A single large Melt or Pose pendant gives a dining table or a hallway a clear centre, while the Mini sizes work well in a group at different heights. Choose the finish to match the room: Copper and Gold for warmth, Smoke and Silver for a cooler look. All the series continue in the wider Tom Dixon range.
