Vitra Chronopak: walnut and brass
The Chronopak clock by George Nelson catches the eye with a warm, lively combination of walnut and brass. Carefully designed details and a high-quality quartz movement make it a reliable, decorative clock for the home. The mix of walnut and brass gives it a warm, lively look that fits well in rooms with wood and metal details, and the clear form is easy to read from a distance.
Delivered with a battery
The quartz movement runs on a 1.5 volt battery, which is included.
One of 150 clocks
Between 1948 and 1960, Nelson and his staff designed more than 150 clocks for the American company Howard Miller. The collection is a mix of wall clocks and table clocks, with freely played shapes and no numbers on the dial. Nelson concluded that people no longer depended on the numbers, but read the position of the hands. More pieces from Vitra are collected under Vitra decorative accessories.
