Kartell Louis Ghost: a Louis XV chair for today

Louis Ghost was designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell. It takes its shape from the Louis XV style, the baroque ideal that Starck reinterpreted to surprise and seduce. The chair looks fragile and crystalline, yet it is stable and robust and resists impacts and weather conditions. It can be stacked up to six high, which helps when the chairs are not all in use.

Colours and rooms

The chair comes in Crystal, Glossy White, Black Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow and grey, so it can follow the colours of the room or stand out from them. The clear Crystal version takes up little visual space, which works well at a small dining table, while a coloured set gives a dining area a bolder look. Louis Ghost suits both homes and commercial spaces.
