Kartell GÉ: a modern take on the chandelier

GÉ was designed by Ferruccio Laviani and draws on traditional chandeliers and lampshades, which Kartell reinterprets in modern materials, colours and finishes. The shade has a slightly fluted structure that refracts the light and gives a discreet sparkle when the lamp is on. It hangs from a twisted cord that ends in a decorative rosette in the same colour as the shade, and the cord can be adjusted from 45 to 230 cm.

Two versions

One version is made of transparent plastic and comes in soft colours such as Crystal, Light Blue and Rose. The other is more dominant and comes in White/ Gold, Chrome and Black/ Gold, with Green and Yellow also in the range. The pendant gives warm light over the dining table, in a hallway or bedroom, or as a mood setter in a corner of the living room.
