Flos KTribe by Philippe Starck

KTribe was designed in 2005 by Philippe Starck for Flos. The series includes F2 and F3 floor lamps, T1 and T2 table lamps, the S2 pendant and the W wall lamp. The shades come in Transparent, Bronze, Créme and Smoke-coloured versions, so the same shape can look light or quite dark.

Shades and diffusers

The series page also holds diffusers and replacement shades named after KTribe, including shades for Ktribe F1 and W and diffusers in Bronze, Smoke and Transparent. The replacement shades are described as made to the same quality as the original and give the same soft, comfortable light. These are shades only and do not include the lamp.

KTribe in the room

The floor lamps are the largest group, see Flos floor lamps. A tall F3 stands well in a living room corner and a T2 table lamp on a sideboard or desk. Choose a Transparent shade for a light, glassy look or Bronze and Smoke for a warmer, darker tone. The full brand is at Flos.
