Tempel 280 Table Lamp Brass

Tempel is one of Piet Hein's most enigmatic creations. Unlike many of his other iconic lamps, Tempel was not discovered through sketches or prototypes, but has instead been large recreated from a few photographs and memories shared by Piet Hein's youngest son, Hugo Piet Hein. The original lamp, created in the 1960s, was made of wood, but today Tempel has been reinterpreted in aluminum – a material that both highlights the lamp's sculptural expression and maintains the original idea of ​​simplicity and elegance. Tempel is thus not just a lamp, but a piece of Danish design history, gently brought back to life with respect for Piet Hein's vision and craftsmanship.
