Product Information
A candle that never seems to burn down. Designed by Dutch designer Chris Kabel for Fatboy, Spire hides a spring-loaded lift inside its slender aluminium body that gently pushes the candle upwards as it burns, keeping the flame at the same height all evening. The small version, 26 cm tall, is finished in a matte, powder-coated Stone grey that suits both minimal and warm interiors.
A non-slip silicone base in the same colour keeps the holder steady on the table. Spire fits standard dinner candles up to 22 mm in diameter and is lovely on its own or combined with the Large and Step versions for a varied, sculptural table setting. Thanks to the lift, the candle always stays proud of the holder, so you never need to worry about the flame disappearing inside or wax pooling on the rim. The muted grey works well on a dark table, next to stone and ceramics, or as a calm counterpoint to the more colourful Plum and Frost versions. A smart, design-led gift for anyone who loves a candlelit dinner.
