Concept: Published to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Yves Saint Laurent's death, this publication is the first to deal exclusively with his work in the house from 1962, when he became creative director, and until he resigned in 1976. The book is first published on English, with a cover designed by Saint Laurent himself and created from a sample cloth of fabrics used in some of his most famous collections, and it contains many hitherto unpublished photographs by the designer taken by fashion photographers such as Horst P. Horst, Sara Moonves and Guy Bourdin.
