For Danish designer Louise Roe, design was never a decision
- "it has always been part of who I am".
As a child, she made decorated glass bottles and sold them door to door, discovering early the joy of creating something of her own.
After studying fashion and later returning to build her brand, the direction felt unmistakably clear. Design was not just a profession, but a way of thinking and creating that felt like coming home.

Architecture, Emotion, and Authenticity
Roe describes her design universe as deeply personal and strongly influenced by architecture. Graphic lines, structures, and spatial balance often find their way into her work, creating a dialogue between clean forms and organic materials. Louise Roe approaches every material with curiosity and respect, always considering its potential and character.
- "I am interested in gently pushing boundaries, exploring how far a material can go and what is possible within the crafting process. It is a balance between tradition and innovation."

Form Before Function
Even though Roe's objects have a functional purpose, she do not start with functionality in mind."My first focus is on creating something beautiful and visually engaging. Once the form is defined, I consider the functional details, but always in a way that doesn’t dominate or compromise the aesthetics."
