Tsumugi B Pendant White/Bamboo

Taller, more sculptural and just as delicate. Tsumugi B is the elongated version of Toshiyuki Tani's washi lantern, handmade in Japan by bamboo craftsmen and washi paper artisans working together. Thin bamboo ribs – around 75 metres of them – are placed unusually close, giving the white paper shade a refined, finely ribbed surface that glows softly when lit.

The bamboo structure at the base adds a warm, natural detail and creates a gentle play of shadows beneath the lantern. With a diameter of 58 cm and a height of 78 cm, it suits high ceilings, stairwells and large dining tables, where its tall, calm silhouette can really be appreciated. Comes with a porcelain fitting, 300 cm of white textile cord and a white ceiling cup; uses an E27 bulb (not included, max 7 W LED recommended).
