A glass sphere balancing on the very edge of a golden cylinder – Tip of the Tongue plays with the eye and seems to defy gravity. Michael Anastassiades has placed a mouth-blown opal glass globe tangentially on the rim of a base in 24K gold-plated metal, creating a small table lamp that feels like a piece of jewellery.
The opal glass spreads a soft, diffused light all around, perfect for the sideboard, the bedside table or a bookshelf. A black braided cord with an inline dimmer adds a refined finishing touch. The lamp measures 30 × 20 × 30 cm and takes an E14 bulb (max 8 W, not included) – we recommend Flos' matching LED E14 8W 2700K T28 bulb.
