Contra Floor Lamp Anthracite Black

The long, expressive curves of this floor lamp are more than a beautiful outline. A counterweighted mechanism lets you shift its balance and adjust its position with a smooth, intuitive movement, changing the way the light works in the room. The generous shade and diffuser create a layered glow, while the sweeping pipes give the lamp its distinctive sculptural presence. Aluminium and steel meet tactile powder-coated surfaces, brushed steel details and a solid concrete base.

Contra feels almost architectural in scale, yet its movement makes it wonderfully adaptable beside a sofa or favourite chair. The generous shade and diffuser soften the light, while the slender, curved structure gives the lamp a strong presence even when it is switched off. Brushed steel details add a subtle contrast to the powder-coated surfaces, and the concrete base anchors the design. A floor lamp that feels as considered in use as it does in appearance.
