Understanding and predicting future technologies are the driving themes behind Chloris, a two-year research project by Arihiro Miyake. Chloris is a pendant lamp that explores the paradigm of atmospheric design. Framed by a conductive structure, individual LED light sources are embedded in polycarbonate diffusers, which disperse in the air and give the impression of floating.
