A modern cinema experience rooted in Oslo’s heritage

Saga is one of Oslo’s most iconic cinema destinations, located in a historic protected building in the heart of the city. In 2025, the venue was elevated into a contemporary theatrical cinema experience, combining the character and heritage of the original architecture with a refined and modern interior expression.

Designed by Confect, the project creates a renewed sense of arrival and immersion throughout the cinema. Carefully selected furniture, lighting and interior elements complement the building’s architectural qualities while introducing a contemporary atmosphere designed to enhance the overall guest experience.

AndLight Contract was involved in the project from the initial stages through to final delivery and installation. We supplied loose furniture and lighting across the cinema, supporting the project with sourcing, coordination and delivery of the selected interior elements. The result is a distinctive cinema environment where Oslo’s historic architectural setting meets a modern, elevated theatrical experience.
